Charity Support Volunteer (Oxfordshire)
South Central Ambulance Charity provide additional support to our ambulance crews and volunteers, provide funds for innovative new projects and work alongside our operational teams to enhance the patient care South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) provide.
Our Charity Support Volunteers will be called on to support with a number of different tasks throughout the year. As a volunteer this offers you a flexible volunteering role. It allows you to pick and choose the tasks you are interested in, are free to do or are really interested in. We need volunteers who can help with a range of requests such as Coming into our offices in Thame to create event boxes, fundraising packs or maybe helping to count money or check out / in out the collection buckets and tins. Helping at our events – handing out our event goodies or supporting our front‐line staff and CFR volunteers with showing families around our vehicles. We would also like to ask our Charity Support Volunteers to talk about us and share with your local communities, families and friends about the work you do. This could be via your social media accounts by posting on local pages or displaying posters up on local community noticeboards – anything which helps us raise our profile.
Plus, many more tasks that really help our charity function and continue to meet our aims.
Please be aware that we will pay for the first 20 miles of any one‐way journey (40 miles return) you make to your volunteering role; any further mileage will need to be paid by yourself. We hope this will contribute to you being able to volunteer in many different ways.
