Charity Ambassador (East Berkshire)
South Central Ambulance Charity provide additional support to our ambulance crews and volunteers, provide funds for innovative new projects and work alongside our operational teams to enhance the patient care South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) provide.
We are looking for Charity Ambassadors who can help us raise awareness and increase our income. We attend local events from Fetes to large County Shows and in 2023 we will be running our own large scale event so there is lots for our Charity Ambassadors to get involved with.
Our Charity Ambassadors are important as you will help us reach new people, inspire new fundraising activity and attend more local events. As a Charity Ambassador you will be called on to help with activities such as
- Attending the Charity Office (based in Thame, Oxfordshire) to create fundraising and event boxes
- Attending local events to increase our fundraising efforts
- Represent us at local events, such as Volunteering Fairs
- Support us at our large scale events
And many more!
If you can give us minutes or hours, a few days a week or a month we will be very grateful for everything that you can do and bring to the Charity. As we invest time into training and inductions we ask that our Charity Ambassadors commit to responding to three requests a year.
Please be aware that we will pay for the first 20 miles of any one‐way journey (40 miles return) you make to your volunteering role; any further mileage will need to be paid by yourself. We hope this will contribute to you being able to volunteer in many different ways.
